JaCER's Engagement and Remedy Platform incorporates a contact for reporting grievances that receives reports of grievances regarding cases of human rights violations in connection with our regular member companies, notifies the companies concerned of grievance reports, and supports and promotes redress of grievances by the companies concerned.JaCER is not an organization that resolves grievance reports we receive, but rather we endeavor to reinforce the effectiveness of the grievance mechanism by acting in a professional capacity to support and promote companies to redress grievance to respect their responsibility to respect human rights.In regard to grievance redress handled through JaCER's Engagement and Remedy Platform, please refer to our Website to confirm grievance redress, applicable cases, applicable companies, and approximate time required for grievance redress.It is possible to anonymously report a grievance. However, if information provided is insufficient, we will not be able to confirm the relevant facts and there is a possibility that the anonymous report will not be appropriately processed. Whenever possible, please provide detailed information. The reporter's personal information is appropriately managed in conformance with our privacy policy.

2-9 Remedies you expect
Please state your expectations for improvement and redress measures regarding the case you are reporting. If you have made a complaint/report to any other grievance mechanism such as a company's contact desk for grievance reports or a court or mediation/arbitration body, etc. in regard to the human rights violation case you are reporting, please state the name of such grievance mechanism and the state of disposition of the grievance case.
JaCER handles the personal data (as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No.57 of 2003 including later revisions, hereinafter the "Personal Information Protection Act")) contained in the grievance report received through the Engagement and Remedy Platform operated by Japan Center for Engagement and Remedy on Business and Human Rights (JaCER)as follows.
JaCER makes every effort to appropriately handle the personal data contained in your grievance report in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws and regulations.
JaCER and the company concerned investigate the content of your grievance, and use the personal data contained in your grievance report only for the purpose of implementing appropriate measures depending on the results of the investigation and not for any other purpose. However, in order to appropriately process your grievance, personal data contained in your grievance report (names, addresses, telephone numbers, nationalities, occupations, companies/organizations of affiliation, e-mail addresses, content of the grievance, and circumstances and history pertaining to processing of the grievance, etc.) may be provided to the parties concerned.
JaCER shares use of the personal data (names, addresses, telephone numbers, nationalities, occupations, companies/organizations of affiliation, e-mail addresses, content of the grievance, and circumstances and history pertaining to processing of the grievance, etc.) contained in the grievance report we receive from you with the company concerned in the grievance allegation in order to achieve the purposes for use stipulated in “2.” above.When JaCER shares use of the personal data contained in the grievance report we receive from you, JaCER takes responsibility for managing the data whose use is shared. JaCER's address, representative, and contact point is given in “6.” below.
JaCER and the company concerned may provide the personal data of the company concerned in the grievance allegation and the personal data (names, addresses, telephone numbers, nationalities, occupations, companies/organizations of affiliation, e-mail addresses, content of the grievance, and circumstances and history pertaining to processing of the grievance, etc.) in the grievance report received from you within the scope necessary to parties concerned who reside in countries other than Japan in order to achieve the purposes for use stipulated in “2.” above.
Please contact the JaCER contact point given in “6.” below for inquiries and requests in regard to disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties, etc. of personal data.
