(Report) Online Seminar on "Considering Human Rights Responses concerning Johnny & Associates, Inc.”
On Friday, September 29, 2023, JaCER held an online seminar "Considering Human Rights Responses Concerning Johnny & Associates, Inc." for practitioners from member companies, which was attended by approximately 40 people from 19 member companies.
In this seminar, Hidemi Tomita, Sakon Kuramoto, and Daisuke Takahashi, representative directors of JaCER, participated in a panel discussion and expressed their views on how a company with business relations with Johnny & Associates, Inc., which has human rights violations such as sexual abuse of juveniles, should respond from the perspectives of business and human rights, and remedy. They had a meaningful exchange of views with the participants from the member companies.
