Notice of Launch of Engagement and Remedy Platform

Today, the Japan Center for Engagement and Remedy on Business and Human Rights (JaCER) announces the operational launch of receiving reports of grievances and the "Engagement and Remedy Platform," which provide support for redressing grievances.

From today, grievances on human rights violation can be submitted to JaCER in both English and Japanese via the dedicated reporting “Form” page on this website.

Please note that JaCER will only be able to receive and support grievances regarding human rights cases related to our regular member companies, and we cannot handle human rights cases that are not related to them (companies/organizations that have business relationships with our regular member companies can be accepted. Please refer to our website for details).

The following is the current list of member companies.

JaCER aims to contribute to strengthening the efforts of Japanese companies regarding "Access to Remedies" as required by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights by supporting the grievance mechanisms. We also intend to operate and improve our operations in cooperation with various stakeholders and rights holders related to business and human rights. If you have any questions or comments, please send us your voices at "Contact".

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
